DIO (Do-It-Ourselves)
Some things require you to
Do-it-yourself as a crew
To be do-it-ourselves compelled
Means doing-it-like-cells' organelles
Working together for tomorrow
Today together on tomorrow-work
Making anything better requires
Requiring better-making anything
I know this person on twitter
Who shares #EarthCleanup picking up litter
Across a landscape made greater with his care
For better ways of living with the world better
To will the way the turn should happen
To be the change you once imagined
Is for all species especially lost and left
Our special, needy, and neglected
To move as the flow, to be the momentum
To keep strong keeping on, moment emboldened
Fighting forces of cowardice, greed, and supremacy
And how we can carry that moment in everything
Who do you mean when you say We?
Does your We hold indigenous, nature, or me?
Does it call out or call in, call for more than doing-it-yourself?
What we mean is the worldly We, We gotta do-it-ourselves.
