Even as Climate Changes: There is a Moon for Everything (Phase, Phase, Phase)
A Variant on Ecclesiastes by Adam Powers
THERE IS A MOON FOR EVERYTHING (PHASE, PHASE, PHASE) A Variant on Ecclesiastes For everything there is a moon, and a time for every surface under its glow: a time to be new, a time to be full; a time to wax, and a time to wane; a time to crescent, and a time to gibbous; a time to honor native indigenous people and cultures, a time to thank our sources; a time to give more than thanks, a time to give land back; a time for the wolf moon, a time for the snow moon; a time for the worm moon, a time for the pink moon; a time to flower and a time to strawberry; a time to buck and a time to sturgeon; a time for full corn, a time for hunters; a time to beaver, and a time to cold; a time to crater, a time to darken; a time to beam, a time to shine; a time to sync, and a time to turn; a time to navigate and a time to gravitate; a time to love, and a time for love.
— Adam Powers
This is a rewrite of that Ecclesiastes verse/poem. I believe The Byrds adapted it best, with ‘Turn! Turn! Turn!’
