**SPOILERS AHEAD FOR AHS S10** AHS subreddit: I wrote a poem reacting to the end of Season 10 -- Multi-Feature Story
Multi-Feature Story
There once was and there wasn't, a horror story lover
Watching a multi-part of a multi-feature story that didn't seem over
About a universe of horror, multi faceted, but this last part not so fascinating
Expecting the excitement to last, but instead of it all connecting, finding it frustrating
Mind replaying seemingly important moments, detective forejudger
There once was and there wasn't, a horror story lover
Beginning with a scary story about artists deluded into addiction
Who hear the siren call of America, capital, celebrity, cruelty, and competition
Like vampires like zombies like the horror of a small place by the sea
Like lizardmen like alien abduction like the horror of a government conspiracy
As a horror story about rebirth in hard work and experimentation
The horror of creatures and technology and stories that capture attention
The horrible truth is: it's all connected– yet it's also not.
The world's both interconnected and random. How horrifying is that?
Horror stories of monsters, here not to scare but to prepare and wake
Like the horrors of more warming in the world with a climate future we make
With the horror or the hero coming from inside, survived in the heart of each other
There once was and there wasn't, a late night multi-feature horror story lover.

Return of Climate Ghost Stories
Happy hallowhatever week. Sharing a couple climate ghost stories this week… because when else does it make as much thematic sense? Well, besides all of the time. Invoking Bowie —
On the other hand, what I like my music to do to me is awaken the ghosts inside of me. Not the demons, you understand, but the ghosts. — David Bowie
For the back catalog of ghost stories I shared this summer, head here:
These are written as hymn lyrics — so they’re intended to flow like an old children’s book rhyme— that either come from the pov of a specific individual or spin out a climate crisis mythos from a classic horror trope.
