Maybe they’re right
Maybe it matters how we tell this story
I just don't see how a world that makes such wonderful things could be bad
Part of Your (Solar) World
Look at this sun Isn't it green? Who wouldn’t want the renewable dream? Wouldn't you think Solar’s That Girl That Girl who has everything? Look at this road Futures untold How many uses can one power source hold? Looking around here you'd think Solar’s got everything. Solar gadgets and gizmos a-plenty Rooftop whoozits and Community credits galore You want thingamaRECs? I've got MegaWatts And, okay— fair No big spiel We still need more But I wanna be where the solar grows I wanna see, see electrons dancin' Jumping around on those, what do we call 'em? Oh, cells Burning fuels has gotten us pretty far But Solar’s required for the jump, advancing Changing the way we power, what's that word again? Grids Plugged-in to get ahead, marathon to run Plugged into enjoying all day in the sun Shining through trees, wish I could be Part of your solar world. What would I give if I could live out of these toxins? What would you pay to those solar-leasing their land? Bet'cha cash-in-hand, they’ll understand That we’re increasing demand AND tearing down the blockers Bright young blooming, sick of fossil fuming Ready to plan And ready to know what the horizons know Ask 'em my questions and get some answers Do you, too feel this fire inside, do you also feel it Burn? Now, it's your turn Your turn to glow, glow-up hopes up-above The renewable dream How we’ve already been Part of our solar world.
So creative and well done!
