"I write short affirmation poems every morning and repeat them in my head to focus on what qualities I want to bring to any day. They definitely sound vain but I wrote this one for you:"
Solar
I am solar I am light and power I am beaming bolder Every kilowatt hour I am sunlight radiating I am wavelengths wide I am spectrums emanating From a continuum of light Sunny, I am underestimated All while I am beating best bets So I engineer and cultivate it Harnessing accelerating glitz I am distributed across distances Harvested across farm acreage scaled I am diffuse as existence is I am raving sun rays in gales I am dancing a glittery tango On silicone like stained glass Cells excited extending in growth I am every panel glinting flash I am exhilarating electrons intertwining Part of a generation generating and flowing I am both source and storage combining I am transmitting a future growing Glowing in drops and waves of light I am renewable As I am infinite I am giving doable I am passive and photovoltaic Concentrated and photosynthesizing chloroplasts I am supercharged and innovative I am an ancient energy refracting I am tomorrow's gleaming dawn Horizon shining since birth I am solar like a sun Grid-tied to the earth I am that sun energized in living With our future reflected closer I am interconnected giving I am solar.

Here’s what I call a Yeah!ffirmation - an affirmation-like persona poetic form I write as an inventive exercise in esteem. Here’s some weird climate ones I’ve shared before and here’s another one about January on a whole other (not-well kept!) blog of them if you’re interested.
